Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson just broke sneaker records.
The professional wrestler-turned-actor confirmed via Instagram on Friday morning that his Rock Delta tennis shoe line not only just sold out, but has officially become “the fastest selling shoe of 2017.”
He wrote on the the social media website, “The goal was to make an phenomenal training shoe, BUT I didn’t want to just slap my name on a shoe and promote it. That’s the easy way and not my style. I wanted to take my time and do it right.”
The athlete continued, “Wanted consumers to know that by the time the shoe is delivered to their front door, I’ve trained hard in them and helped engineer them for over a year. Talk the talk, but more importantly we walk the walk.”
Per the father of two, the show sold out globally in just one day and the company is now working to restock the product around the world.
The selling of The Rock’s Under Armour shoe comes just two months after blasting the company’s owner for supporting Donald Trump. When founder Kevin Plank called Donald Trump an asset to the country back in February, Johnson suggested his comments were “divisive and lacking in perspective.”
