Janet Jackson, Wissam Al Mana Separate Three Months After Welcoming Baby Boy

Janet Jackson and her billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, have called it quits.

Three months after welcoming their first child together, Jackson and Wissam decided to walk away from their marriage of just five years.

Some reports suggest the split was amicable, other reports claim Al Mana became wildly controlling during the course of Jackson’s pregnancy.

Janet has not commented on the separation, however, it’s now being reported that her mother Katherine Jackson’s two month stay in London was most likely to support Janet during her troubled  marriage.

Another thing allegedly that drew the pair apart was Al Mana’s lack of concern for Katherine amid claims she was being abused by her nephew, Trent.

As we look back over the years, troubles might have been apparent for some time.

In February 2014, divorce rumors plagued the pair, but at the time, sources revealed to our friends over at Entertainment Tonight, “The rumors about their marriage are a lie. They are very happy and very much together. In fact, the couple has recently purchased an even larger home in New York.”

During Jackson’s latest tour, which came to a halt because she was focusing on having children, people even speculated that her covered up on-stage-image was because of her husband’s strict rules.

It’s also worth noting that Janet and her family have been living in London because Wissam wanted live according to Muslim custom.

Jackson and Al Mana tied the knot in 2012 and for the most part, kept their relationship very private. In 2015, however, Jackson released a track titled “No Sleeep,” a track clearly about her Qatari businessman husband. “Day and night, I dream of us doing whatever / But I guess I’ll have to wait until that day comes.”
