Lil’ Kim And Faith Evans Beef Coming To An End? One Of Them Reaches Out

Even the oldest beefs can come to an end one day.

Just ask R&B legend Faith Evans, who just extended an olive branch to Lil’ Kim by posting a kind tweet about her. VladTV was the first to report the story.

This past weekend, both stars attended the Hot 97 Tip-Off concert at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple.

Diddy did a performance at the event and recruited some of his old Bad Boy artists. Kim, Faith, R&B group 112 and others hit the stage for a ’90s reunion of sorts.

Based on their storied history, things could have easily went south for Evans and The Queen Bee at the event.

In the middle of Bad Boy’s reign in hip-hop, The Notorious B.I.G and Faith Evans were the Jay Z and Beyoncé of their day. Meanwhile, Lil’ Kim was the rapper’s mistress, and everybody knew about it.

The beef has been well-documented in books, the big screen and in past interviews.

In old footage from a TV show called Video Music Box, Evans said she felt extremely betrayed by the “Hard Core” rapper. The ’90s clip was obtained by Complex.

“This is somebody who I had up in my house, taking her to the gym,” said Faith. “I would take her shopping, give her my style and things like that, and all along she’s sleeping with my husband.

“It’s like a big soap opera,” she added. “I feel stupid even sitting here talking about it.”

That was a long time ago, though, and Evans wants to move on.

“@lilkimthequeenbee making it do what it do,” she wrote underneath an Instagram photo of Kim’s All-Star Weekend performance. “#hits #whatsbeef #thatishisplayedout #wegrown #teamfizzy #teamprolific #incomparabealbum.”

This isn’t the first time the “Soon As I Get Home” singer expressed forgiveness for Kim.

As Sister2Sister reports, Evans said she was willing to work with the Brooklyn rapper on a song one day.

“I would if it was the right song, for sure,” she said in an interview with New York radio station Power 105.1.

Will Kim respond? She should, because there’s nothing cornier than a 21-year-old beef
