Mark Wahlberg May Not Be Done With ‘Transformers’ Afterall

Mark Wahlberg is back and ready to save the world in Transformers: The Last Knight. The 46-year-old reprises his role as inventor Cade Yaegar in the Michael Bay-directed flick and told HipHollywood that, despite reports, he may return for another film.

“It’s all up to Michael [Bay],” he said. “If Michael says it’s his last one then it’s my last one. But contractually I’m committed to one more. I think it would be hard for Michael to let this go and give the helm to somebody else, so I don’t know.”

But while Wahlberg isn’t sure about his return , Josh Duhamel, who reprises his role as Colonel William Lennox, says he’d come back for another Transformers film — on one condition. “I think I need more to do than just kill Decepticons,” he joked. “I think I need to give Michael [Bay] my reel.”

Meanwhile, newcomer Laura Haddock and Wahlberg had lots of stunts and running to do on the action-packed set. “I loved it actually loved, I have to be completely honest,” gushed Haddock, who plays an oxford professor in the film. “I fell in love with the stunt work, and the gimlet and the hamster wheel, just all of it.”

Also joining the fifth installment is Isabella Boner, Jerrod Carmichael and the one and only Sir Anthony Hopkins. Peep the official film breakdown below and check it out in theaters now.

Humans are at war with the Transformers, and Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving the future lies buried in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Now, it’s up to the unlikely alliance of Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Bumblebee, an English lord (Anthony Hopkins) and an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock) to save the world.
