Milan Christopher will NOT be returning for another season of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, but according to him, it’s not because he was FIRED. HipHollywood caught up with Christopher back in June, and he told us he wanted to leave the show, and was working on his own reality series.

“No more ‘Love & Hip Hop’ hopefully, “he said with a laugh. “There are contracts and stuff, so hopefully no more L&HH, but I am working on my own show that’s in production. It’s a love show about me finding love, which I’m still looking for and it’s going to be epic.”

“It has a lot of twists and turns, a lot of things that you would not expect,” he added. “A lot of people that you would not expect, so it’s going to be crazy.”

Last week, Christopher posted a message on Instagram alerting his fans that he would not be returning for another season, but stated he didn’t know why.

“Unfortunately I will not be on this season of @vh1 @LoveHipHopVh1 #LHHH,” he posted. “Why? I don’t know. Life Goes on. Theres More Great Things To Come.”

According to The Jasmine Brand  Vh1 gave Christopher the boot after he demanded more money. “Producers and the network wanted him back,” said a source. “They offered him a contract and he was negotiating with them. He wanted way more money and felt like he brought so much to the show.”

Christopher did tell us that he made sure going in that he didn’t get caught with a bad contract that would limit him from doing other things. “When you sign contracts especially with reality TV, you make sure that they don’t own you,” explained Christopher who is the nephew of Motown creator Berry Gordy . “You take exclusivity clauses out, and you don’t have a contract where they can hold you for like three years … so you make sure you get rid of that.”

Last season Christopher became the first openly gay male cast member on the LHHH franchise, and his relationship with Miles Brock became a buzzed about storyline. We’re sure fans will be tuning in to see who he hooks up with on his new series.
