The Weeknd Is Digging Deep For Uganda

Super Starboy Singer, The Weeknd comes from humble beginnings an even talks about being homeless back in Canada before his rise to fame. Now, the Grammy winner is giving back in a big way!

E! Online just reported that The Weeknd, who’s real name is Able Tesfaye has just donated $100,000 to the Suubi Health Center, a maternity and children’s medical facility in Budondo, Uganda.

The 27 year old singer-songwriter was reportedly inspired to give his support after learning about the cause from pal French Montana and his work with Global Citizen and Mama Hope to help raise awareness for Suubi and the people of Uganda.

I can exclusively reveal that the “Starboy” superstar has donated $100,000 to the Suubi Health Center, a maternity and children’s medical facility in Budondo, Uganda. He has yet to humble brag on social media- guess he’s not doing it for the likes.

Montana also donated $100,000 to Suubi and launched an online campaign called #Unforgettable, sharing the name with new hit song, that has helped fund a blood bank, premature incubators, cribs and other maternity supplies.

And we thought we couldn’t love these two any more than we already did.
