Welcome to America! The land where murdering a Black teenager doesn’t lead to a criminal conviction, but shooting in the direction of a White man leads to 20 years behind bars. Matthew Apperson was just convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for firing a gun in the direction of George Zimmerman, the disgusting human responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin.

The men were involved in a confrontation back in May 2015 that ended with Apperson shooting into Zimmerman’s car. Zimmerman claimed that the two men had been engaged in a confrontation back in 2014, and during that incident, Apperson expressed his anger over the death of Trayvon Martin.

Circuit Court Judge Debra Nelson in Seminole County called Apperson “a danger to the community” during his sentencing. No word on what she thinks of the murderer, Zimmerman. Folks on Twitter, however, were quick to point out the hypocrisy of the United States judicial system.
