50 Cent has officially compared Jay Z’s new album to GOLF COURSE MUSIC! We know folks, we are shocked too.
Just in time for the holiday weekend, Jay released his highly anticipated project, 4:44. But while most of us were bumping the LP as we hopped from party to party for the 4th of July, 50 Cent was busy being completely unimpressed.
In an Instagram video that has since been deleted, the rapper said: “I thought the sht was aight, you know what I’m sayin’? I liked the sht. But I’ma keep it 100: The sht was a little, the sht was too smart. I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and sht, and tie a fcking sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League sh*t.”
He continued, “I ain’t gon’ hold you up. Some of that sh*t was like golf course music.”
Fiddy added, “I’mma tell you the truth: Nggas hot out here. They don’t wanna hear that sht. They just wanna have a good time. Fck that. You can’t be the best rapper at 47, because the new nggas is here.”
It’s a known fact that 50 doesn’t bite his tongue when it comes to certain topics, but did he misspeak this time? After all, just last month, after being inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. Jay listed 50 as one of several power players that has inspired him.
